The mission of Upward is simple: to use the power of sports to share the gospel and promote the discovery of Jesus in every community. The season runs January - March and offers basketball and cheerleading for K5-6th grade boys and K5-8th grade girls.

An Upward Sports experience is an excellent experience for your family.

Upward Sports began here at Grace Pointe out of a desire for the church to meet the needs of families in the community. By focusing on the sports experience and the whole person, we desire to help participants grow mentally, athletically, spiritually, and socially.

WHOLE PERSON

The sports experience you will find helps participants engage in learning a sport, enjoy physical activity, learn how to be a part of a team and gain knowledge and understanding from God that applies to life.

PLAY

All children deserve opportunities to be active, learn, and have fun!  Everyone gets equal playing time!  Everyone is an important part of the team! 

FUN

Playing a sport is about having fun while learning the fundamentals

to gain confidence.

HEALTHY COMPETITION

Playing a sport is about giving your best effort during competition while respecting your opponents, coaches, and officials.
