Research indicates that children’s moral foundations are generally in place by the time they reach age nine (Barna, 2003).  Using the universal language of sports, Upward Sports’ Coaches and Volunteers connect with families during the formative years in a child’s life to develop values, athletic skills and a life-long love of the game. 

This fall Grace Pointe will begin hosting Upward basketball at our new facility on Gambrills Road in Severn, MD; and your children are invited to be a part of the fun! Through Upward Basketball your child will: have fun in a friendly sports environment, be encouraged by coaches and referees, and learn life lessons at each practice. Each child will learn the fundamentals of basketball and play in each of their team's games.
